Successful candidates will be full-time employees and assigned to one or more systems at various locations in rural areas within the Basin of the Nueces River. The successful candidate will be a full-time employee and be based in the Authority’s Coastal Bend Office located at 500 IH 69, Suite 805, Robstown, Texas. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a field of science or public administration and five years of related experience. A combination of demonstrated experience and education comparable to a bachelor’s degree is acceptable. A Class “C” driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the Authority’s current insurance provider is a requirement. The Nueces River Authority (NRA) is seeking energetic, motivated, bright, experienced individual to join our fundraising team as a Grant Coordinator. In addition to researching and writing grant proposals on behalf of our organization, you will be in charge of maintaining a grants calendar to monitor the application process and keep track of various deadlines. You should feel comfortable reaching out to institutional and potential donors, as well as communicating with company leaders regarding their financial needs. Our ideal candidate is someone who will be able to enthusiastically help our organization attain the funds it needs to serve the community. The successful applicant can choose to be based in NRA’s Coastal Bend (Corpus Christi) or NRA’s General Offices (Uvalde) and work under the direction of the Director of Planning. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public administration, or a related field and three years of experience as a grant writer. A combination of demonstrated experience and education comparable to a bachelor’s degree is acceptable. The NUECES RIVER AUTHORITY is seeking proposals from qualified public depositories interested in providing comprehensive bank services to the Authority. Sealed Proposals for Banking Services must be delivered to, and be on file with, John J. Byrum II, Executive Director, Nueces River Authority, 539 South Highway 83, Uvalde, Texas 78801, on or before 3:00 PM, July 28, 2023.
